Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Switch Version Sells 500,000 Copies

Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed on Thursday that the Nintendo Switch version of its Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide, including both physical and digital copies. The announcement also noted that there is a shortage of physical copies of the game in Japan, and that a new shipment of copies will arrive in early February.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe in October 2016, and for the PS4 in Japan in November 2016. The company then released the game for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 7 and in the West on September 22.
The first Dragon Ball Xenoverse game shipped for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan on February 5, 2015. The game then debuted in the United States on February 24, 2015 and in Europe on February 27, 2015. The game also debuted on PC via Steam on February 27, 2015.
