Aksys Games announced on Wednesday that its planned release of Tamsoft's Drive Girls PlayStation Vita game has been delayed to September 8. The game was previously slated for August 11.
Tamsoft released the PS Vita game in Japan on January 26. Rising Star Games released the game in Europe digitally and physically on June 9.
Aksys Games describes the game:
In a world under assault by an army of mechanized Bugs it's up to the Drive Girls – five girls with the power to transform into souped up supercars - to defend their home of Sun Island, cross the finish line, and save the day!
The action game allows players to control characters that transform between human and car form. The game also has multiplayer with support for up to four players. Illustrator UGUME (KanColle) drew the character designs.
