Crunchyroll Changes Release Schedule for Case Closed Anime

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it is changing its release schedule for the Case Closed (Detective Conan) television anime series. Crunchyroll will stream the series for premium members on Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. EDT. The change takes effect starting with episode 858 airing today. Free members will be able to access new episodes one week later.
The anime series airs in Japan on the NTV and YTV channels on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m.
Crunchyroll previously would add new episodes of the anime on Wednesday afternoons after the episode's original broadcast. Crunchyroll began streaming new episodes of the series in October 2014, starting with episode 754.
