Magical Circle Guru Guru Anime Reveals 1st Teaser Visual

The official Twitter account for Hiroyuki Etō's Mahōjin Guru Guru (Magical Circle Guru Guru) manga revealed the first teaser visual on Friday for the manga's new television anime adaptation.
The anime will star Konomi Kohara as Kukuri and Shizuka Ishigami as Nike. The anime will have a stage event at AnimeJapan on March 25, and the event will reveal the voice cast for the Kita Kita Oyaji and Juju characters. Kohara and Ishigami will appear at the stage event.
The new anime adaptation will not be a sequel of previous anime or an adaptation of the Mahōjin Guru Guru 2 manga, but will start with the story of the manga's first chapter when Nike and Kukuri meet in Jimina Village.
Eto's Mahōjin Guru Guru fantasy comedy manga ran in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine from 1992 to 2003. Eto then launched the Mahōjin Guru Guru 2 sequel manga on Square Enix's Gangan Online website in 2012.
