posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
This year's November issue of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine is revealing on Monday that CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura franchise will have a "super super new news announcement for what everyone's been anxious about" in the December issue of the magazine, which will ship on November 3. The December issue will feature the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Hen manga on its cover, and the new chapter will have an opening color page.
The July issue of Nakayoshi had announced on June 3 that CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura manga is inspiring a new anime project.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the original manga. CLAMP launched the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Hen (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc) sequel manga series in the same July issue on June 3. The manga takes place after titular character Sakura graduates from Tomoeda Elementary School, and is now in her first year of junior high school. Sakura sees a mysterious dream, and an incident takes place.
