Bandai Namco's New World RPG App Renamed .hack//New World

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Thursday that it is rebranding its New World smartphone role-playing game as .hack//New World. The updated version launched on Thursday.
The company launched New World: Vol. 1 Ginrui no Otome for iOS and Android in January. The game is the first installment of "Project N.U.," which features concept and world design are inspired by the .hack series. The .hack series protagonist Kite appears
Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (.hack//SIGN, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Summer Wars) is designing characters for the 3D RPG and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm developer CyberConnect2 is collaborating on the project.
In the game the protagonist, the player's "other self," appears in the world and meets a girl with silver eyes. Her voice calls forth a secret hidden from the world, and grants the protagonist forbidden power.
