Writer Nisioisin's Site Launches Countdown Featuring Jun Aikawa Character

The official website of writer NisiOisin is currently hosting a countdown site featuring an image of the character Jun Aikawa, from the writer's Zaregoto and Saikyō novel series. The countdown will end on Thursday, May 5.
The countdown earlier showed an illustration of Jun Aikawa with the text "My name is Jun Aikawa." The site currently hosts a different image of the character (shown above), with the text "Don't call me by my surname. The only ones who do that are my enemies."
NisiOisin launched his new Saikyō novel series in April 2015 with the novel Jinrui Saikyō no Hatsukoi (The Strongest First Love in All Humankind). Kodansha will release the second book in the series, Jinrui Saikyō no Junai (The Strongest Pure Love in All Humankind), on Saturday. Take draws the novels' illustrations.
The series centers on Jun Aikawa, the world's strongest private contractor, with no enemies left to defeat, or no contracts left to fulfill, but falls in love for the first time.
Jun Aikawa first appeared as a central character in NisiOisin's Zaregoto novel series. NisiOisin wrote nine volumes for the series from 2002 to 2005, and also published seven novels in the Ningen spinoff novel series from 2004 to 2010. Take also illustrated both novel series. Del Rey manga released the first and second volume of Zaregoto in North America in 2008 and 2010, respectively.
