Macross Franchise Gets New Game App by DeNA

The official portal website of the Macross franchise announced on March 21 that mobile app developer DeNA is developing a new game based on the Macross anime franchise. The announcement did not reveal any further details.
The latest Macross anime project, the Macross Delta television series, premiered on April 3 at 10:30 p.m. on the Tokyo MX channel. A commercial for the game app ran during the anime's premiere, and it teased that the app will feature many stories from the franchise's 34-year history.
