This year's 17th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Yoshiaki Sukeno's Twin Star Exorcists (Sōsei no Onmyōji) manga will receive a one-shot chapter in this year's 18th issue of the magazine next week. The chapter will be 32 pages long and will include a color center page.
Viz Media is releasing the series in North America, and it will publish the fourth compiled volume on April 5. The company describes the story:
Rokuro dreams of becoming anything but an exorcist! Then mysterious Benio turns up. The pair are dubbed the "Twin Star Exorcists" and learn they are fated to marry...
Can Rokuro escape both fates?
When Rokuro's best friend Ryogo goes missing, Rokuro is forced to ask Benio for help to enter Magano, the realm of the evil Kegare, to rescue him!
Sukeno (Binbogami ga!) launched the "new-generation onmyō (ancient Japanese occultism) fantasy" in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in November 2013, and Shueisha published the seventh compiled volume of the manga (pictured above right) on January 4. The eighth volume will ship on April 4.
The manga is inspiring a television anime series that will premiere on April 6.
