Comic Market 89 Draws 170,000 on Day 2

The Comic Market 89 (Comiket 89) event in Tokyo drew approximately 170,000 attendees on its second day on December 30, 2015. Second-day attendance went up from this past summer's Comiket 88, when approximately 160,000 people attended on the second day. Attendance was roughly the same as last winter's Comiket 87.
About 150,000 people attended on the first day. Attendance was down from Comiket 87's first-day count of 180,000 attendees — a Winter Comiket record. It was also down from Comiket 88's first-day count, which numbered 180,000 as well.
