Monster Strike Net Anime Views Surpass 5 Million
posted on by Jabulani Blyden
XFlag Studio's net anime of mixi's Monster Strike mobile action role-playing game has more than 5 million views as of October 25. The first two episodes of the anime began streaming on YouTube in Japan on October 10, and they streamed with English subtitles starting on the same day. XFlag Studio then launched a different YouTube channel for the English subtitled version on October 13.
The 5 million views number takes into count the views of the English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitled versions.
The anime is based on mixi's mobile game, which mixi describes as:
Slingshot monsters and watch as they bounce around like pinballs, destroying enemies in their wake. Play with up to three other friends in this co-op action RPG. Become a master and collect over 1,000 unique and powerful monsters — staking your claim as the best Striker around!
The fifth episode began streaming on Saturday. Each episode in the series is around seven minutes in length.
