The official website for the upcoming anime films based on the works of late novelist Project Itoh announced on Friday that the the film's staff is offering refunds for those who pre-ordered tickets to see the Genocidal Organ film. The website outlined the method of repayment, and stated that it will be giving out refunds until December 31.
The website stressed that those who already purchased tickets for the film will not be able to use those tickets even in the case that the film does open.
The official website for the film had announced on October 1 that the film has been delayed. The film was scheduled to open on November 13, but it now has no official release date. The Harmony film, which was slated to open on December 4, will now open on November 13.
Genocidal Organ is being animated at studio Manglobe, which filed for bankruptcy in September.
Genocidal Organ was originally slated to open in October, but the release order of the three Project Itoh films was shuffled so that The Empire of Corpses would open in October and Genocidal Organ would open in November. The Empire of Corpses opened on October 2 in Japan.
