Danganronpa: Another Episode to Include Animated Scenes

Shinichirō Miki voices new character Haiji Tōwa, who joins Shirokuma & Kurokuma in September 25 PS Vita game

This week's issue of Kadokawa's Famitsu magazine is announcing on Thursday that Chunsoft's Zettai Zetsubō Shōjo Danganronpa: Another Episode (Absolute Despair Girl Danganronpa: Another Episode) spinoff game will include animated event cut scenes. Character designer Rui Komatsuzaki and Shimadoriru are in charge of the event cut scenes. This is the first game in the Danganronpa franchise to utilize fully animated event scenes.

The issue also revealed three new characters: Haiji Tōwa (voiced by Shinichirō Miki), Shirokuma (Polar Bear), and Kurokuma (Black Bear). Shirokuma works with the Resistance while Kurokuma works with the "Warriors of Hope."

The PlayStation Vita game will ship in Japan on September 25.

NIS America released the PlayStation Vita port of the first Danganronpa game in North America and Europe early in February under the name Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, and plans to release the second game, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, in North America on September 2 and in Europe on September 5.
