Anime Expo 2005
Anime Expo - Kazue Yamamoto focus panel
by Wendi Hamilton,
Kazue Yamamoto's panel was populated by very enthusiastic fans! She admitted to being a little nervous, but encouraged everyone to ask as many questions as they had.
What sets her games apart, aside from being fully voiced, is that everyone wants to be a good looking hero, so there are good looking women and men in the games. The secret is in using mid-tones instead of bold or light colors and drawing the girls' hair very beautifully.
Yamamoto is excited about Angel Feather becoming an anime, but it also meant more work with supervision. She prefers games, as players can move about and change their storyline; animation, she says, is one directional and has a very specific story line.
A clip of the studio's latest work, Izummi, was premiered. From the clip it looks like an action filled game filled with bishojo and bishonen.
