NIS America announced their plans today for their release of the beautiful and heartwarming
Natsume's Book of Friends, seasons 1 & 2, and they're giving you the chance to have your questions answered by director
Takahiro Ōmori. For an added bonus, if your question is selected, you'll also receive one of
five (5) retail copies of the Natsume's Book of Friends Season 1 & 2 Premium Edition package! The package will come with all 26 episodes from both seasons one and two on four DVDs, as well as a full color, 32-page hardcover art book, which will be available on October 9, 2012.
Natsume's Book of Friends follows a boy named Natsume Takashi, who has the ability to see spirits. After he inherits a mysterious book from his deceased grandmother, he discovers that the spirits are contractually bound to the owner of the book. Now, with the help with a spirit cat, he's determined to free all of the spirits.
The contest will be open for one week, until Saturday, July 7 at 11:59PM EST. You can submit up to five questions at once, but for the best chance of winning, please make sure the questions are related to Mr. Omori's involvement in the production of Natsume's Book of Friends. Only one entry per person, please. Winners will be announced and notified the following week, once we've had a chance to pore over all the responses. The contest is open to everyone, but prizes will only be shipped to addresses in the United States and Canada.
The Fine Print: Although unlikely to happen, Anime News Network reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time. Contest is open to any and all residents of the planet Earth and neighbour parallel dimensions, but prizes will only be shipped within the continental United States and Canada (elsewhere, you have to arrange to have it sent to someone living in the appropriate area, and they can send it to you.) Winners' names will be posted on AnimeNewsNetwork.com, their mailing addresses will be provided to our shipping agent of choice (ie: USPS) and no one else. Winners' addresses and e-mail addresses will be erased once the prizes have been shipped. Non-winners' names, e-mail and mailing addresses will not be given out to any one and will be erased when the winners have been confirmed. Non-winners will not be contacted, spammed or harassed in any way. We reserve the right to retroactively add new rules when and how we see fit.
