The director seems to be fairly new, not sure how I feel about that yet. I just hope Madhouse knows what they're doing for the adaptation.

A PV should come soon, probably this weekend.

Madhouse and light novel adaptations are like oil and water. I hope they at least try to do well this time.

As an old school war drama, this novel requires a lot from the director and series composition in order to shine. In fact, this one is even harder to adapt than Mahouka (Is Madhouse's adaptation of Mahouka good? Up to you). They really need to make good decisions on which scene they need to cut in order to fit 12-episode quota, as well as how to recreate epic battle scenes.

If done wrong, this will turn into a non-haremy Lord Marksman and Vanadis; if adapted well, get ready for one of the better strategy-based war adventure currently available in Japanese novels ( not just LN)
