Of course it's someone in Latin America. "Los Caballeros del Zodiaco" is like THE most popular anime there! Those people get really passionate about it, it's cool to see.

^ At least in Peru, yes. It's the childhood of all this generation.
I see him in lots of otaku/manga/anime event that happen here in Peru, always bringing all his collection, showing his figures, his books, and showing them to every fan... It's really impressive and I'm happy for him.

I have images of this guy's collection, and it is indeed crazy in how big it is. Congratulations on winning a Guinness World Record, and it does look like he's aiming to have more than just Saint Seiya. I found a recent Twitter post where he showcases his recently-acquired Limited Edition Volume 1 of the Ring ni Kakero 1 anime, complete with a full-sized recreation of the Oath Flag that the characters had their names put onto.
May Athena continue to bless him with more stuff in the future.

Congratulations to Mr. Flores for reaching the Guinness World Record books. Saint Seiya is, no doubt, a huge showstopper among most Latin American countries.

It's impressive to see someone so passionate and doesn't lose interest over the time, unlike me

I have no idea what to think about this. "Saint Seiya" may have been big in Latin America but in the United States,it didn't do as well. I can only hope that this guy doesn't decide to emigrate to America. While his collection is admirable, most Americans would think to themselves "What the heck is that?"

Why would he want to migrate to America in the first place? Stop believing everybody in Latin America wants to migrate to your country, that's just idiot.

I think that azips has basically misunderstood what I said. What I was saying was that "Saint Seiya" didn't do well in America and IF he were to emigrate to this country,no one here would know why he would have such a big collection of this show anyway. Senor Flores has a right to be proud of his collection and I don't begrudge him for that. There are a lot of people from Latin America in the U.S.,both here legally and illegally, among them fans of this show. I'm saying that this Flores character isn't going to be one of them.
On a side note,I wouldn't be surprised that the creator of this series decided to base a character on this guy. If that happened, then he'd have just one more reason to get merchandise for his collection.
