Finally, Maburaho is finally coming to DVD. Ever since I first heard about this anime series I've been anxiously waiting for the news of its release.

I think you meant to put "standalone" - you put "standalong."

May, if the Diamond Catalog is close to accurate.

Let's see...

March 1 - DNAngel Vol. 3
March 8 - Chrono Crusade Vol. 4
April 5 - Sister Princess Vol. 4
April 19 - Maburaho Vol. 1
May 30 - Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu Vol. 1

It's great to be an ADV Advocate! Laughing

I hope it's not that long. But aside from Azumanga Daioh, I've never really paid attention to how ADV releases things. How long a period is it usually between them licensing a series and releasing the first DVD?

It depends on the title. They take forever with some(like a year before they got the Sorcerer Hunters OVA out after announcing it). They're usually 2 months between releases unless the title takes off, then they bump it up to every 6 weeks. Gantz is comong out every month, but it's only 2 eps instead of 4 or 5, so it's the same deal. They're getting 5 eps of Saint Seiya & GetBackers out every 2 months.

Since everyone else is voicing their complaints...

Crying or Very sad Still no Detective Loki. It's been a year since they announced the rights. *sighs*

Well at least they're not saturating the market... too much, and I'll admit, this won't sell too well.
