Holy cow, am I dreaming? I actually clicked on the article expecting it to be US and Canada only like the older Lupin series. Time for me to renew my subscription asap.

I'll watch it for the gorgeous animation. I really hope the writing has improved since Part 3 because none of the Lupin plotlines were ever interesting to me.

1. HELL YES, at last we can get decent subs for this show! Enormous amounts of thanks.
2. Thanks for actually calling it 'Lupin III Part 4' instead of the lame 'Lupin III (2015)'.
3. Available in the Netherlands? Okay, you deserve it Crunchy, I'll subscribe.
Better late than never.

Finally! I hope it is along the lines of The Woman Called Fujiko Mine in terms of tone and writing.
I am somewhat surprised Funimation is not streaming Lupin III, Part 4, considering that they licensed Fujiko Mine.

Fujiko Mine didn't sell well for them, so I guess they just decided to abandon the Lupin franchise altogether.

Awesome! Lupin III Part 4 was actually one of my most anticipated anime series throughout 2015, alongside Durarara!!x2. Glad it'll finally be available to watch with proper subs within the next week or so. I've only been watching Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru, this fall.

A late Christmas gift, but beggars shouldn't be choosers. I'm just glad there will be a legal way to consume new Lupin.

From all appearances it is more in tone with the Lupin anime produced before Fujiko Mine.

Be great if Crunchyroll streamed the real episode 6. For some reason Japan's broadcast skipped that episode (Italy didn't) so the numbering is all off for Japanese episode guides...
From what I've read it wasn't the greatest episode (zombie themed) but some of us want to watch it anyway with the Japanese voices.
Unless Japan will add it an a "bonus OVA" for the home video release if they never plan to broadcast it later on... or maybe pretend it never existed for whatever reason

It's going to be on the fourth DVD/Blu-ray if I remember right. Another episode from later on in the series will also be home release exclusive. Would be great if Crunchy can stream them anyway.

It's worth noting too that that was, unfortunately, the second time Lupin managed to not sell well for them apparently. They had 8 of the yearly TV specials and two of the feature films at one point in time too, and those apparently just never did the numbers they were expecting. Honestly, I think them picking up the Fujiko series had far more to do with 'Oh wow, look at the boobs in this show, we've got a market for that!' then them really wanting to give Lupin another go.
Obviously though, Lupin does sell, it seems to be doing just fine for Discotek - it just doesn't do the numbers wanted (or required even, maybe?) from a larger company like FUNimation.

not sure were else I should ask this is apologize if this is the wrong place, but I am looking for an article about Lupin that was published here on ANN. It was called something along the lines of "how to watch Lupin." I have tried using the search function of the website but have had no luck. Can any one help me?
