Ka-ka-ka-KABEDON! AMIGAWD GENOS IS MAKING A MOVE! I hope it's more entertaining than the last OVA. I'm not interested in origin stories unless it's about Genos.

Have these blu-ray sets all been confirmed to have English subtitles or not? I might be picking up all of them if they do.

That was an OAD, not OVA. It was included with the 10th manga volume. This is the 1st & 2nd OVA's.

According to CDJapan, they unfortunately do not. It feels like money left on the table considering it's popularity in western fandom. I was hoping to collect the volumes, too.

Edit: I'm wrong, they do.

I read in an article here that the official website had confirmed the first blu-ray set would have English subtitles, was that false then??

Why hasn't anyone found out why the series was ended at 12 episodes, yet? There's plenty of material from the manga that can still be animated before the anime would catch up

According to WTK, who runs a thread dedicated to finding import sets with English subtitles on this site, these sets DO have English Subtitles. Here's that thread: animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=921892&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=345

In that thread he links to Bandai Visual's One Punch Man webpage which also claims that the sets have English Subtitles.

Personally, I think it's safe for us all to rejoice now, and thank Bandai for being one of the only Japanese Production companies to regularly put English Subs on their sets.

I have them all pre-ordered right now! In about a week I should have Volume one in my hands! Very Happy

We did report that the first BD release has English subtitles, because the official website lists that it does:
http://onepunchman-anime.net/goods/bd.php?page=1

The website also lists that the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ones also will (it didn't list that the second one would at first so we didn't report on it having subtitles earlier).
