The more Ryukishi the better.

All of his Visual Novels so far (especially Umineko) were on another level of high quality writing.

depends on what you defirne as writing, the plot adn development, even the characters are really good, but the technical writing is pretty bad, no surprise that he never got them published as real novels originally. :V

Did you even understood his works so far? lol
The "technical writing" is what he does best (Umineko is the perfect example of it).
And I have you known that all of his VNs so far (except Rose Guns Days) got published as books.

Ah shoot. As long as you remake and finish Umineko before you animate this new work.

Allow me to remind you, he was a published playwright before a VN developer- Oh, and both of these announcements are real published novels, not doujinshi or even professional VNs.

I guess I can see how you'd think his technical writing is bad if you've only read the janky old translations that MangaGamer even acknowledges as innacurate and badly written, but if you've read any of Witch Hunt's translations, I'd have a hard time understanding how you'd manage to read his stuff and leave with a bad impression.

Actually, Rose Guns Days was also published as a Light Novel! It was just published by Seikaisha instead of Kodansha, due to Rose Guns Days' licensing rights belonging to Square Enix, since RGD was a collaboration between them and 07th Expansion.
