THIS is the way to handle the whole "premium set" business: give the upscale version for those who care about the extra stuff at the same time as a regularly-priced version for those who don't.
I am pleased that the fan support showed enough for the upgrades to become available. This was my pick for the top anime series of 2014 and is definitely one of the funniest that I've seen in several years. Anyone who's ever thought that shojo romance storytelling conventions need a good parody owes it to themselves to watch this one.

I definitely agree, as a huge collector in the short time Sentai has been doing CE's they have easily become my favorite company when it comes to CE's, beautiful chipboard artboxes full of tons of goods as well as the price point is fantastic for what your getting imo keep it up sentai!
I pre-ordered this set from Rightstuf the day it went up and look forward to it I might have missed it but did Sentai confirm if they were dubbing the OVA's? I would assume so but I don't believe I saw them confirm it.

Yes, Sentai keeps getting better at CE Packaging. They are setting a good clean standard for the rest of the North American market.

Nice, am very tempted by Sentai's CE for this series. Unsure if I should wait to see if Hanabee is bringing it over here, but they didn't for Beyond the Boundary...but have for Fate/stay night UBW...

The OVAs are just 2-3 minutes long each, so I don't see why they wouldn't dub them.

@Megiddo: Sometimes even Funi will release a series with the shorts as extras but won't dub them. An exception to this is with both Freezing series. Also, considering how often such anime shorts are fan service-driven, I can see why either company might not dub them.

Their social media guy clearly adores this series, and it sounds like around the office they do too. This is a really interesting release, in my opinion, because it feels like a release that they are actually doing out of love for the series. In a way that scares me though, because, personally, outside of my immediate friend group, I didn't see a ton of hype for this show. I just really really want this to do well for them, and I don't want them to get dissuaded from listening to the fans if it doesn't.. Maybe I just feel this way because I was one of the most vocal advocates of it, and I don't want that to come back to bite me.. lol

I guess it's just because everytime I watch a series whether its Funimation, Sentai etc.. a lot of the time they include shorts that are a few minutes long and they are almost never dubbed, I honestly can't remember the last bluray/dvd I watched that had dubbed shorts so since even though these are OVA's and not shorts (I'm assuming there's a distinct difference?) they are just a few minutes long and was just curious if the trend was going to continue.

Ys, this really is the way to handle premium releases; Give the standard release the same show content as the premium edition.
Otherwise you're just holding the product hostage. We wouldn't want that now, would we Sentai "300 versus 325" Filmworks? Or do we? Maybe I should ask those willing to pay that much want the sense of entitlement for "show plus". "If you want the extra, not aired shows, you should pay more. I did." I have; I have very few premiums but I do have single/two episode OVA dvds next to their respective series.
We already have things like AoA's "Well, they're OVAs so we can't stream them ... constantly. Consistently? So you'll just have to buy it. Ha ha eh" or Funimation's "What OVA?" We don't need someone to take the next step... wait, they've already taken one step by repackaging bonus materials... not even full OVA episodes, just the bonus shorts... as a new release so we don't need them to take the next next step more than once.
I haven't even gotten to the "we weren't going to dub it but now we're going full special. Who has the time to read streaming numbers these days?" aspect of this announcement. They don't dub based on popularity, personal decisions, quality licensed programs or outside influences... except for actual money from outside sources? Somehow, I still picture a dart board making these decisions.

Oh Sentai, if only you could steal Rokka's rights from PonyCan...
So yeah, this is an amazing way to treat a popular show. Nozaki-kun deserves it. It also was my favorite of last year, so I'm looking forward to this release. Might not get the CE right away, but I'm really considering spending my money in this.
And regarding the social media guy/girl, he/she really loves the anime he/she advertises (everytime Akame Ga Kill and Parasyte go live on Toonami, they go crazy with their Twitter account) and I feel that Sentai the company loves what they own and have. They respect the product and the fans. It's great to have companies like that.

Not being provided with the materials to do it? They might be seen as extras by the producers therefore not provided with any voiceless audio tracks. Possibly.

I never imaged I would buy a CE from any company but seeing as how much I freaking love this show, I immediately took out my wallet.
I am so hyped for this release and all the cute little trinkets. I might start buying CE from them more often in the future. *Looking at Beyond the Boundary*
Does anyone know when they'll announce the dub cast? Or are Sentai waiting until it gets closer to the the DVD release?

Like you said I think the social media guy was the main reason this got a ce and it kinda shocks me too see when they cry getting just a single blu ray release. They made a big deal about getting that show and to give it so little hope to put it in a single blu ray sucks. Also there way more fans down on how Shirobako release is being put out sub only and also split in 2 parts. Also wheres Chunibyo season 2 blu ray they really only get the dvd rights to a show they put as their first ce that did well for them weird
