I prefer the metallically-detailed figure of WarGreymon over the flatly-colored one.

Edit: Corrected a couple of errors. Thanks Gonstead. Smile

They're both products of Bandai.

I love WarGreymon but there was already a D-Arts version of him. I want a Garudamon s.h figuarts or a Angemon s.h figuarts. C'mon Bandai!

Well, to each his own. But for me, this WarGreymon figure is 1/2 of what I've been waiting for - an anime accurate representation of the character (just not the Our War Game version). Most people would be familiar with the designs from the anime, so I'm really confused as to why Bandai decided to use the V-Pet designs for the D-Arts line... Yes, it has more details and a more flashy paint job, but it's not the WarGreymon that I grew up loving.

Not to mention, the D-Arts figure was a mess in terms of quality control issues. It was loose, floppy, had misaligned claws, and the Dramon Killers were re-designed from the test shots so that the fists couldn't go all the way in behind the blue panels - exposing way too much of his forearms.

It looks like this new figure has fixed all those issues and more.

If you don't believe the D-Arts is more accurate to the V-Pet version and a horrible representation of the anime design, here you go:

I got the 1st edition of D-Arts Wargreymon release, the quality is good
but QC become worse for newer release and there is no guarantee this upcoming S.H.Figuarts Wargreymon Our War Game will have better QC too because the recently released S.H.Figuarts Imperialdramon Paladin Mode still have quality issues. Rolling Eyes

FYI D-Arts line is dedicated more to video games characters than anime, Persona 4,Rockman/Megaman, God Eater, Pokemon etc
but Bandai think it is pointless to continue D-Arts line so they integrated it into S.H.Figuarts line

And actually there is no different between Toei's Wargreymon version vs Bandai's Wargreymon version
but some digimon do have changes, Weregarurumon have tail and Greymon have 4 claws feet for Bandai version

Er, no differences? The proportions are completely different.
