15 years of working on a fighting T&A manga is possibly enough to make you infamous for it.

Tokyopop held the license to Yuji Shiozaki's original manga in North America under the name Battle Vixens until the company closed its North American publishing branch.

So where does it stand now? Awaiting contract expiration? Rights belong to a different company? Already void/expired?

It's been ages since I've heard of anything about Ikkitousen.
I'm interested in seeing how this new manga will show off all those martial art battles. Smile

that's what i was wondering as well. now that tokyopop is six feet under, where does that leave the manga? considering that no manga company have licensed it as yet, afraid that its a worse case scenario that none of them arent gonna license any ecchi fest filled manga like this one, unless its named highschool dxd. too bad though.

and considering on how quickly queens blade's popularity fizzled , its almost a certain to say that this manga wont be getting an anime version anytime soon.

It's really disappointing how still the North American manga is only up volume 15, while the Japanese manga just released the 24th volume in September of last year, and we still do not have any news if it will get picked up.
