At least the people that will be busy around the time those "special" shows air may have a chance to watch the delayed episodes of Idolm@ster at their new times.

Funny how TV specials in anime are something to groan about. At least they're confirmed to push through with 25 episodes and not resort to cutting the series short like with God Eater.

Few in Japan cared about GE, if A-1 did that with Idolm@ster you'd have a protest at the studio similar in number to the protests about the crappy security bills that Abe passed.

Both are among Bandai Namcos more popular franchises of late. I don't know why they're so obsessed with the TV specials for their video game commercials of of late. I hope this doesn't end up happening with the new Gundam

Forget moe and idols, delayed episodes are the biggest current thing in anime!!!! Razz

On a more serious note, this is happening too frequently of late. Are directors and producers getting too ambitious these days? This feels like a topic ripe for an Answerman column…

Then there's me who probably can't watch the last two episodes until December, at least for once this doesn't affect me (as I knew the latest episode would be delayed, just means I don't get to watch the second last episode before I go on a 3 month trip).

As long as the specials are scheduled beforehand on TV guides, then at least viewers know what to expect and can plan ahead around it if need be.

The worst thing would be if it's unscheduled, when viewers would go out of their way and make plans to watch it, but then all that work for nothing, when they could've been doing something else with their time.
