Obviously Japan are making a statement about race relations in America. Wink

I kid. That's kinda sucky, though. Would be nice to see more colours coming to the US and EU.

No offense to Sony, because those new colors are nice, but... the Vita needs a lot more than some spiffy redecorations.

Aqua Blue is a pretty nice color, but I'm really hoping the Persona Dancing All Night console gets released outside of Japan. I would buy that easily, especially since I don't own a Vita yet.

As a Vita owner I would say Sony is focusing way too much on the system, and not nearly enough on the lack of games.

I was seriously considering buying a PS Vita back when I could purchase one for $130, but after a little research I figured out that Sony had pretty much given up on the North American market.

I don't need to tell anyone here that there are a lot of games released for the PS Vita that are sold exclusively in Japan. Now, if those titles were available in English or were allowed to be downloaded as digital copies from the Sony Japan Playstation Store, then I would be playing a PS Vita instead of complaining about them.

At least they look pretty, though! Rolling Eyes

well i know there are those who will buy a game system just for its color..

so this might work

still.. drop the price of the dang thing to $150 or $130 already

VITA means life-- eh.. it's doing worst than the PSP

this black friday $150 for the system and some games + memory card .. then i'll buy one

if not maybe i should just get One Plus Two phone instead..

not just Sony. Even iphone, Galaxy 6s, etc, we don't get the cool color. Only whitest or blackest color ^-^
I'm still waiting for Green and blue Galaxy.

$200 is cheap, not sure why you think it's expensive. It's been the standard handheld retail price for years now.

I'm sure it comes down to a difference in sales between Japan and other regions. More colors in more stores means more costs, hence why only one retailer in NA is getting only one new color.

I'm also a Vita owner, and I don't think the problem is that there is a general "lack of games" as I keep seeing people mention. The problem, as I see it, is more that what is offered, while quite good, doesn't necessarily appeal to a lot of people. There aren't really any western developers paying the system much mind, and that means relying on Japanese developers who are naturally going to make games for a Japanese audience. This actually seems to be problem more for handheld gaming as a whole, and not really a symptom seen only in the Vita.
