Sounds decent and all, but... does ANYONE care about this show? Is there something I'm missing? Confused

I wonder why Funimation chose to dub this, of all things.

Well, they're dubbing everything that they pick up. At least, that's what they've been doing lately. I'm surprised that this show is going to be one of the three 'simuldubs'. To me and probably everyone else, this show seems the least bit interesting.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Forgot to call it simuldubbing Razz

"Well, this was a bad idea."

Right, not the best line to end a dub preview with. So far, the dub previews have me glad I haven't tried the shows they're trying to get me to watch.

Who cares/likes this show? Well, Felecia Angelle's FB group have some likes on it. Last night, I wrote:

Anyone else see the Sky Wizards Academy dub premiere tonight? As for the lead guy and the red-haired lead girl, well, it's Joel McDonald and Tia Ballard. That's right, Minato and Ku-chan (Sekirei, for those that don't know). Also, Felecia is directing this show and I am liking the spunk that she directed Tia to have.

Sky Wizards Academy is the only anime I care about in the Funimation lineup this summer.

Sky Wizards Academy is another of Funimation's shows that I've been wanting to watch the instant it debuted in Japan.

The cast sounds good, so I'll give the show a watch. Smile

From my Sekirei view, I still am picturing Minato essentially becoming a pedo for Ku-chan. I love how they can get Tia, Brittney, or Alexis to play the tsundere/spunky girls because they each have the voice for that.

Why even watch the previews if you're not gonna bother checking out the shows at all? Neutral

In concept, the show at least makes sense as a way to balance out the "dubble talk block" with something much lighter than the other two shows. Whether it was necessarily the best choice, I don't know, but I can see what they were going for.
