Congrats to Naruto. I wonder how many NaruSaku fans have or would buy it out of spite? I know I would certainly do that.

I wonder which shipping of Naruto did Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, the Shippuden dub director, favored. Looking at a post she did on FB when the manga ended, I am think it was NaruHina. Heck, she is the only Naruto dub staff member that I am aware of that regularly read the manga.

I am glad to see SNAFU TOO! keep doing this well. Your Lie in April is not doing big numbers anymore, but I suppose this is natural for a sixth volume.

So much for being "The Last." The numbers sure show it. WTF?! DxD at 4K? Its suppose to be 6K and higher.

It's doing surprisingly well, compared to Lost Canvas and Omega. However, I don't think this show's BD and DVD sales really matter as long as Bandai makes a lot of money on the new Cloth Myth action figures of the Gold Saints wearing God Cloths.

With over 1 K on dvd, it shipped over 5k combined on blu ray and dvd. Probably will end up between 6-7k. Honestly Dxd has never sold ridiculously high like in the 10ks, but the shows has always consistently put out 6k plus, so I anticipate them continuing with the anime for a while.

Near 3,000 copies for Victory Gundam Blu Ray box.

Now of the people who bought the DVD set for 80,000 yen or 13 single DVDs for 6,000 yen each. Still buy the Blu Ray?

Or is the people buying it never bought it before?
Or perhaps even seen it?

Or even older fans that might have recorded it off TV in 93-94 and some may have bought Laserdiscs upgrading to Blu Ray.

Not that anyone has the answers it's just curious of who is the customer but its probably a combination of all 3.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Soul of Gold's numbers. It's nothing spectacular, but I expected less, Saint Seiya has never really sold much as far as home video releases, it's always relied on the toy and merch sale to stay afloat. The show itself is a lot better than I ever expected, especially after the Sailor Moon Crystal debacle. Hopefully this plus all the gold Bandai is making out of those God Cloths will convince Toei of making the series longer or something of the sort.

Dang, quite a lot released this week.

Hoping for a Your Lie in April sequel with those number...spoiler[oh wait....]

Surprised Gintama and High School DxD aren't higher up, considering all the love they get online. And Nisekoi.

Are you thinking about a different anime? Every volume has sold above 9K, so I have no idea what you mean by "Honestly Dxd has never sold ridiculously high like in the 10ks, but the shows has always consistently put out 6k plus". Even if you mean the 1st weeks, it was always around the 8~9K mark for every single volume.

Although, it has definitely dropped a massive amount compared to the previous seasons. Looking at the data below, BorN Vol.1 1st week sales of 5,570 represents a 38.28% drop from S2 Vol.1 1st week sales of 9,024, and 38.93% drop from S1 Vol.1 1st week sales of 9,121.
