I like these games especially 2, 4, and 5 however this needs porting to the Vita or 3DS so badly without the F2P elements. I hope you can make her become a whore or a wife again. Also, the RPG elements are decent in this. Be a dear and port this please for those who want to pay for a full game.

I think my favorite thing about this franchise was when in Princess Maker 2 my sister was trying to raise a dominatrix and overshot - her daughter turned out to be the Demon Lord.
...I never did manage to raise a lumberjack... |

I wish you could play as a mother like in Princess Maker 5...
I also liked the friends, love interests, and otome game elements in Princess Maker 5, it doesn't look like it's coming back... 
And there's no denying this is going to be freemium bullshit. I wouldn't doubt you'll have to wait real time for the lessons and jobs to finish unless you pay up. Ugh. It's just like My Monster Rancher... Beloved raising sim comes back as a crappy freemium app. |

I think the concept of raising a virtual orphan would be a good way of making a slow day go by a bit fast.
However, thanks to Princess Maker being a so-called "Free to Play" title, I don't it would be worth it for one to slowly empty himself to bankruptcy trying to buy the entire game through microtransactions. |

This is a Japanese port of 'Princess Maker for Kakao' released in Korea/China last year(Mgame is a Korean developer).
You can choose the gender of the parent, but ultimately does not matter coz you're called 'dad' either way, and storywise you are a 'male hero who saved the world'. Maybe it will be fixed? You can also choose the parents' jobs; the dads can be 'King' while the mom version is a 'Queen consort'.
You're right, it was freemium bullshit to the maximum. When released the game was criticized for making in-app purchases almost a must in order to see more diverse endings(or enjoy the game at all), especially for high tier ones such as Queen. I guess it was addictive in a way for some.. Unrelated, but the game had questionable standards when it came to weight, as an average BMI(ie.157cm,47kg) is considered 'obese'. At one point it was absolutely okay with the daughter weighing 0kg.. I dunno how much of the game changed in the Japanese port, but pretty sure the player is able to marry the daughter now. yay? |
