I don't have a TiVO, a VCR (useless, outdated piece of tech) or a DVD recorder (too expensive, waiting for prices to go down)

A VCR is useless and outdated because TiVO and DVD Recorders are the new tech to be using to record shows.

I could afford the $200 DVD-Recorders, but I am waiting to save up a little more and get JVC's DVD-Recorder (since I have a 27" JVC I-Art TV, DVD Player, and Home Theater System):
http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027250&pathId=115
$499.95 on JVC's MSRP, $429 on AAFES Website

How does ANN know what time Ghost in the Shell will air on Thursday nights? Do they have a Cartoon Network schedule. If so, what is the full schedule for Thursdays starting on November 11? Also, why didn't ANN anounce the premier of Fullmetal Alchemist while they were at it?

All you have to do is go to the Swim message boards... or check the AS schedule...

From the AS boards...

"On November 11, Thursday nights from midnight to 2 a.m. will become Premiere Repeat Nights. This will give our comedy broader exposure and allow action viewers to catch up if they missed the past Saturday’s premiere, which is important as most anime is serial. For example, the schedule for the first Premiere Repeat Night is Squidbillies, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell: SAC and Super Milk-Chan. This way any viewer who misses the Saturday and Sunday premieres gets a second chance to catch up in the story."

AS didn't post the November 11 schedule as of this date. Being a member of the AS boards (under the name ssblade16) I am well aware if what you quoted. What I wanted to know for sure was if Fullmetal Alchemist repeats will air on Thursdays at 12:30.

EDIT: I got my confirmation of this today at the AS website. FMA will air at 12:30 on Thursdays.

It's unlikely that ANN will get something on this before AS posts the schedule (which currently goes up till Nov 10), or an annoucement on the boards.

Outdated yes, useless no. There are plenty of movies that have never been released on DVD and are only available on VHS and the only way to watch them is through a VCR.

If you do have one, Bandai has sent me an e-mail saying they'll replace the DVDs/OST if you'll just send them the discs only, though I'm sure if any of you have received these, you probably have already informed them. Smile

(Speaking of which, I need to send these things out sometime... Razz).

The most interesting thing I can see in the article is that the run will last 26 weeks - does that mean they're going to air that episode dealing with Batou's work in Section 4?
