Congratulations to Team KAIST for winning the contest. I could tell that their robot was top-notch with how smoothly it ascended up the steps.
As for the other teams' robots...Well, at least they gave it their best.

Watching the video of the spills, it always amazes me with how ungainly and top heavy designs people are using for a bipedal robot. The South Korean entry made absolute sense as a design. Particularly being able to transform and hence lower its centre of gravity. In that case it can be used as a backup emergency measure if the robot is unbalancing. It also kept its upper sections fairly light from the looks of it. In comparison some of the other efforts were just bizarre.
