Weird, the Angelika Film Center near my house in Fairfax almost always gets these. I wonder why this is an exception...

I preferred the dubs Disney did, why why do they have such strong accents, it sort of breaks the immersion. I didn't like their dub for Giovanni's Island or Patema Inverted either.

Oh hey, there's actually one in a area I'm in, maybe I won't have to wait for the DVD! Now I can finally have an opinion on it.

Yeah, right? Or the Potomac Mills AMC. They both usually show things like this.

Nice, it's actually playing in the city where I live, on May 29th too!

Hailee Steinfeld seems like a good choice to me for Anna. I'm only familar with her from True Grit, but from the very few brief words in this preview, I thought she sounded good.

As for the driver, it's Wreck-it Ralph! For the woman sitting in the car, I felt like that laugh after hitting the pothole was very awkward and kind of creepy... I think I would be in the same exact expression and position as Anna if I was sitting in that car.

Disney never did the dubs in the first place (at least they never hand a big part in them). All of the Ghibli dubs are done by Studio Ghibli themselves, from their international branch.

Jay: I think Ghibli just oversees the dubs, and that's about it.

Anyway, it worked for me on Marnie.

Finally, some theaters in Michigan! And it's a free screening right by me, too!

Wonder why they have the Michigan Theater listed as Detroit, when it's very obviously in Ann Arbor.

Look all I care about at this time is when the DVD is coming out. But I bet you it'll be released faster than how long it took to release Letter to Momo. Glad that folks are seeing it.
