Sounds pretty cool, but I doubt OnV has such a wide spread fanbase like BGC did, it's not exactly your general introductory anime title.

Not really interested in this one, I really hope they consider also opening the next Kickstarter in parallel with this one.

A lot people who backed the BGC kickstarter were asking for the blu-ray of this to be the next kickstarter. Not like it has a high goal either,so I don't see it having any issue with reaching it.

I'd probably pledge for this.

This project sounds well though out; I think I will support it. I also hope this leads to AnimEigo or other company kickstarting a BD release of Gunbuster.

I'd support that and a BD of Diebuster too. Then they can sit next to my DVD copies. I have a real soft spot for both OVAs.

I've never actually seen this one but I'm willing to put a bit in having just finally watched the Gunbuster movie the other night, I'm now in just the right mood to go for another old Gainax title. (Speaking of Gunbuster I also agree with the comments for a kickstarter for the series BDs of Gunbuster and Diebuster, because I mean the movie was fantastic but there were definitely glaring pacing and development flaws from the compression of the first four episodes)

EDIT: However I'm slightly suspicious of AnimEigo being allowed to use a BD50 where Japan only used a BD25. Surely there's a catch outside of not being allowed to ship to Japan?

Otaku no Video used to be the first anime screening to open any NA anime convention.

Not recommended for those who can't make fun of themselves.

I'm glad it is region-free, otherwise I would miss out.

This will be happily supported by me. I loved their BGC set. Can't wait for the OnV set. It will be interesting to see what stretch goals they come up with.
