Oh man...that looks awesome. I have no desire to see the new Appleseed, but Steamboy! And Oseam! And Hair High! And La Prophétie des Grenouilles! Canada has all the awesome animation events. I'm still pissed that I missed a chance to see Seong-Kang Lee in person at VIFF, and that was only two hours away from me...

Yeah, too bad Appleseed and Steamboy probably won't even get limited runs up here.

GitS 2 never even had a Canadian distributor.

Appleseed and Steamboy are both going to be widely distributed, or so Geneon and Sony say. both of those movies shall be dubbed for thier wide release.

and GITS Innocence wil be released in Canada on the 29th of October, in Toronto, Endmonton, Vancouver and Montreal(i think).

anyways, its gonna be a pain in the arse for me to try and make it to Waterloo, but ill do all i can to see Appleseed subbed, and to see Steamboy again before the official date

I live in Waterloo so I was planning to go to this... but none of the titles appeal to me enough with the price they want for each screening. x_X Oh well.
