I find it interesting that anime fans are only interested in the animated adaptation of anything. We like animation afterall and nothing else.

Yes, animated adaptations provide a whole new realm of entertainment (provided they're actually good). I have always found LNs to be incredibly boring as you have to sift through every word and read up on the cheesy emotional lines. Manga is a little bit better, since it gives visuals instead, which compensate for a lot of the not exciting text in LNs. Then you have the animated adaptation of which you can see the characters move and speak, and action sequences are colored with fantastic shades and movement. How is it interesting that fans are interested in anime adaptations more than others? Animated shows (IF done right) are much better than their printed predecessors IMHO.
