This actually seems kinda cute - at least by premise wise. Not sure what I think about the visual yet though but maybe it could be interesting.

Could someone check? My katakana dictionary says the first character is a "Ta", not a hiragana "Yu" and the rest of the hiragana is "yakedon". Anyway, I love the concept of a little cat "punk" and a young girl being friends, maybe this is her grandfather after re-incarnation?

It's 夕, pronounced "yuu", the kanji for evening, not the katakana タ. If you look closely, you'll see the stroke different strokes involved. |
