My prayers have been answered!!
*Breaks down crying tears of joy.*
*Stops crying and waits patiently for the announcement that Yakuza Ishin and Yakuza Zeron will also be coming West at some point in the future.*

They also had me, but then PSN, Sony hacking issues, and I gave up.

Zero has a far better chance of localization than Ishin.

Not sure at this time. But given it's going to be release in North America, I say a European release is likely to happen.

Funny, I'm actually playing Yakuza 5 over here in Japan as we speak. Glad for y'all over in the US - it's a great game so far. Always felt the series deserved more recognition in the west.

That was two games ago. Why would that one be the barometer.

I hope it does, as I'd like to continue the story and importing it from America seems rather awkward.

Quite - I'm ultimately going to play it anyways I suspect, but whether or not I buy it at launch or months down the line during a heavily discounted sale is dependent upon whether or not anything gets cut.
Either way, very happy to hear of this, and I'm looking forward to the Dance Battle stuff~
