This is easily the funniest show of the year, I also don't see any autumn shows beating it.

I love this show. It looks really cheap ( looks like Pierrot put all their budget on Tokyo Ghoul ) but it's also hilarious. Momoka is a merciless and unusually cruel heroine, not at all what one expects looking at her character design. The mascot is also actually funny and not annoying like most are. I also find the fact that it's based on a shojo manga interesting. Probably one of my favorite shows this season.

This is a series that knows its intended audience and is happy to cater to action aficionados.

You had me going for a bit but this series has no idea what its audience wants, it does one better by doing what the writer wants. Right from the start, the narrator basically says "this is for girls, suck it up". So this is the kind of show that its intended audience has to find because "cute girls" plus "fake guns" does not equal "action parodies".

I do find it hilarious that the writer gets offended by the bulimia episode, itself a reverse "very special episode" as Momoka is immune to such things, but is perfectly ok with the Apocalypse Now parody ending in fiery death for several red shirts as a punch line for a scatological joke {The moral of that story is: flushing saves lives}. Which one has the gag "snapback"?

Still, got to love it when black comedy happens to innocent bystanders. "I was offended... by comedy!" If your morals aren't being challenged, I'm not being entertained...

The biggest red mark would be the hunting episode, and I think it is that they just could not figure out how to turn it into the crazy laugh out loud moment they wanted. The humour was along the lines of "lol, we actually made these characters and you care about hunting like it would save society". There was a good satirical idea behind it, but the tone did not fit.

But in my opinion it easily fits as one of the 3 big comedies of this season along with Nozaki-kun and Barakamon.

The hunter episode was just a commercial, they did not even try to make it funny.

I was really hoping for Miou to say "get to da choppa" as the gang were running away, but alas it was not to be.

Another one of my favorites has ended. I am going to miss this show. Yeah, I know there is an OVA coming up but still.... Anime cry

Anyway, this is one of the funniest shows I have watched in a while. spoiler[Glad to see everyone back for the finale, especially the freaking crab. And best MC as best gift for the yuri girl? Who would not want to have that? Glad to see this show end in a happy /u/ end.] Very Happy

These lines have been crossed by so many other comedies that...

Wait, I've said it already. There are no taboo subjects in real comedy, only squeamish audience members or "safe" comedies.

I will shed some tears that this show is going away.

Just had a lovable cast precisely because they were so unlovable and with a decidedly asshole streak to the protagonist.

It may take years for another anime to hit the kind of notes this show did.

Agreed! Anything goes in comedy. In fact, the more offensive or politically incorrect a joke is, the more I tend to laugh out loud. I especially liked the skits about the girls getting fat, a topic many risk-averse anime wouldn’t dare to make fun of.

I initially thought Sabagebu would be a show about cute girls being insufferably nice to each other, but I was positively surprised that it wasn’t the case. Hope to see more of these raunchy comedies in the future and more selfish, nasty but very human girls like Momoka. The only flaw was the absence of an overarching plot which made the show feel somewhat repetitive.

I loved the series, I agree completely that ability to throw the audience out of their safe place into no-holds-bar comedy is rare treat indeed. The karma payback for Momoka get in the end was hilarious and unexpected.

I hope this group writers can cook up something just as funny when they get together again.

Like how the end of episode left us..
