Hm,had to reread a couple of times to understand it and I think I do now.So overall they are going to use HM name to make a new HM game but it isn't remotely connected to the original company/staff correct?If so let's see how this plays out.

Well apparently the creator is not involved with either project, although the other one has the majority of the staff. But at the same time HM games never really had any connection between each other, so its not like it really matters, best case scenario we get two good "HM" games with one having a different title.

Either way, that's 2 Harvest Moon games I'd be waiting for, for it to be PAL-ise.

Well it is kinda strange and weird due to all of this.

Story of Seasons is the newest Bokujou Monogatari game. We have always gotten the Bokujou Monogatari (or Bokumono is how the fans say it in Japan from what I found out) series as that was named "Harvest Moon" over here. It can not be called Harvest Moon: Story of Seasons because of trademark issues and Natsume owns the name "Harvest Moon". Story of Seasons is the next game in the series. This game is being published by XSEEDs, the parent company is Marvelous AQL makes the Bokumono (or Harvest Moon) series. All Natsume did originally was publish and translate it.

Natsume however is going to make their own game in house using the Harvest Moon name that has nothing to do with the Bokumono . Trust me, it is a pain to explain about it to.
