Agreed.
Now if only I resolved that problem with the Attack on Titan order earlier...

Does anyone have issues with the Attack on Titan LE and CE? To me the digibook was a mistake, especially if Funimation does not provide a storage box for both parts.
Funimation seems to be every fan's favorite company. But they might have dropped the ball with one of their biggest titles in their history. Still, I hope Funimation sells tons of copies because AoT is a great show.

I didn't have any problems with my LE set. I don't really care that it doesn't come with a massive box to put both parts in as I like having more freedom to store both sets wherever I want.

The main problem with the SnK digibook is that dirt will easily get into it. This means the discs are more prone to get damaged. The 2nd big problem is that they're doing overlapping discs.
OVERLAPPING DISCS.
Now i'm deciding whether I should get the AU or UK release...
Initially I was sure they'd include a box to house the digibooks in as that'd seal the opening part quite well, but yeah... I hope they're able to get a box for the 2nd part.

not sure if this makes a difference to you or not, but the disks are overlapping, but they don't touch each other.

Although not NA I am also looking to getting the final limited edition Gundam UC volume. Extra goods galore with the previous volume was awesome (found for $11 brand new somehow!) I have an extra copy if anyone wants it. I have a Macross Plus CD.shipping with it. Can't wait for that either.
As for the domestic Attack on Titan sets glad to see they are going all out. Sad to hear that people are having quality control issues with it. FUNimation seems to always drop the ball in that area with their premium releases. Why the heck is this? Aside from the Lain HD transfer issues the boxes themselves were falling apart for some folks.

What kind of issues have you been hearing about? Where'd you hear them? I haven't watched my set yet, but I'd like to know if there are any problems before I start to watch it.
I searched around and all I could find was an amazon review saying the translations are garbage. That's not hard to believe considering my experience with their Steins;Gate release.

My issues aren't with the actual LE box. Both the first disc of the DVD as well as the first disc of the Blu Ray was severely scratched. Even though it was a bit disappointing FUNimation was happy to send replacement discs free of charge.
