5 volumes with 4 episodes each only gives us 20 episodes. the other 4 volumes would have to have 5 each to get the entire show

The trailer was... iffy.

Mako, Nonon, and Mikisugi all sound good. Everybody else is full of NOPE, especially Satsuki and Sekentsu.

Also, yikes, those prices.

They announced a few other characters at the end of the trailer too:

Shiro Iori: Todd Haberkorn
Bazaro Mankanshoku: Micheal Sorich
Suykyo Mankanshoku: Erika Harlacher
Mataro Mankanshoku: Lindsay Eaton

Alex Von David is directing it: http://i.imgur.com/pYNBs3J.png

Hey, to be fair most of these actors are just starting out at BZ. Everybody has to start somewhere. Remember VA veterans such as Crispin Freeman, Yuri Lowenthall, and Michelle Ruff (known to BZ) weren't greats in the beginning. IMO, I think these new voice actors are doing a fine job. Erika Mendez I happen to know IRL and she has a god-like range. Same with Christine Marie, who unfortunately is type-cast in the same kind of role(s). That's the director's fault, not the actor's.

And not to play the devil's advocate, but people constantly complain about how the same actors are recycled over and over...so shouldn't it be a good thing to see some new talent?

Despite the price-tags, super excited for the physical release of Kill la Kill!

Meh.
Get the feeling this might end up being another Madoka where the voice direction is either terrible to non existent,

Add to the fact that the price point (even the episode count doesn't add up to the total number of episodes, 5 x 4 = 20) and the general unawareness of their own show (they didn't know about the OVA), I get the feeling they're rushing this out.

What exactly do you want in the casting? It's obviously was going to be LA-based that Bang Zoom! had stronger connections with.

Damn, those prices, but Aniplex gonna Aniplex, you know?

I already resigned myself to KLK being priced absurdly high once it was announced Aniplex was keeping the US distribution rights for themselves, but it's my favorite show so...time to get stupid.

Limted Edition all the way!

I really appreciate all the goodies that are going into it. I want all the Kill La Kill things!

I understood it was going to be LA based, but they literally keep using the same people they cast in all their Aniplex dubs.

Uh, Carrie Keranen, as far as I know, has only been in two anime that are worth mentioning. Madoka Magica and Berserk.
BERSERK.
spoiler[She was Casca BTW]

Mendez is flat-out new.

Oh Aniprice...

Also I remember seeing a few misc clips... Does nobody in this show have nipples? Because I swear to God they would have been visible in some shots.

I was really hoping I'd only have to spend a bunch of money on 2 sets of KLK, instead of 5. Even if the price was the same in 2 volumes as the 5, it just feels easier to swallow when I only have to buy 2.
