Looks pretty cool. Tom Cruise has done some decent sci-fi in past couple years, hopefully the trend continues with this one.

The book does not exist. The book does not exist! The book does not exist!! The book does NOT exist!! The BOOK DOES NOT exist!! THE BOOK DOES NOT EXIST!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

Nope, can't do it. I cannot make myself forget the source material and as a result the movie is, for me, already ruined. Sad

I want to enjoy it, I truly, honestly, really do! but every time I watch this trailer all I can see is misrepresented characters, brutalised aesthetics and an "'muricanized" plot torn from a really clever, and touching story.

I will go to see this film. I will enjoy the action scenes and the explosions and the (Stupid) mech-suits and the cool looking aliens.

Then i will go home and cry.

Mr.: I think the author's just happy to get that kind of instant recognition for his work, considering how small time he probably was, even in Japan.

They've been showing a longer movie trailer in front of Spiderman 2.
