Wait................................................ Really?

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Never thought anyone would pick this up. I mean, it's a LN & it's got 25 volumes out... I'll be buying it, I enjoyed the setting and the characters quite a lot, I just hope we won't be getting less than 3 volumes a year, because of the sheer volume they really could be pumping out releases, if demand is sufficient to warrant rapid releases that is.

Really loving Yen Press.

OH MY GOD THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED?!?! I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE WHEN I FIRST HEARD IT!!

I don't know how to feel about this, on the one hand I do like Index alot and I definetly feel the novels are the best version of it, but I never expected it would actually get liscened...how many volumes will actually make it out? Will it survive for that long? Just thinking about all the little things that this series being localized in its base form just makes me-

*BOOM!!*

Here lies Thatguy who died of brain implosion.

News like this is why Yen Press is my favourite publisher. I am interested in all these titles but Gou-Dere Sora Nagihara, A Certain Magical Index and the physical release of Another more so.

Also since they've licenced a 20+ LN series it gives me hope that they can licence equally long manga series like Freezing.

Amazing news. I wonder if they'll be able to pick up any Shogakukan/Shueisha series like the Earl and The Fairy, since Viz has pretty much close to zero interest in LNs unless they're attached to super popular manga.

25?
Try 31 + at least 10 or so SS(short stories, that are canon and important for the plot). Also, Kamachi is known writing really fast, so I seriously doubt Yen Press will ever catch up.

I can't get excited about this...

Index is a 30+ volume series.

There is no chance they will actually finish releasing them all.

If they do somehow manage it, it won't be for 10+ years.

Not to mention all the censoring they'll do of pretty much every picture.

Hm, I already picked up Another digitally... I wish they had released it physically in the first place. I might buy it again.

Why?

Because the art is done by Suzuhito Yasuda Sensei

The imprint will launch this fall, and Yen Press aims to publish about 24 books next year.

Not sure what to think about this, that's 2 volumes a month, i don't see it happening...
