the link seems to be bad. it links to "animenewsnetwork.com/www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/memories/" which just sends me to the ANN front page.

According to both RightStuf and AnimeNation it will only be released in Japanese.

Definitely check it out anyway. This is an excellent anime, one of my personal favorites. Stink Bomb is still my favorite

Now normally I wouldn't bring things like this up... but wouldn't it be better to mention Katsuhiro Otomo's involvement? While Koji Morimoto directed what I feel is the best segment of the movie he wasn't the only director involved... In fact IIRC the project was Otomo's to start with and he simply recruited others who he knew would do well with the projects. He directed one segment and wrote the script for that one and another... and to be honest his name is a bit more... prolific, if you ask me. Just a thought, but altogether good news to be heard.

of course it is nice to see Koji Morimoto's name get mentioned. He's an unknown director amongst anime fans. There is a good french website devoted to his works at www.kojimorimoto.net done by Tsuka the same guy who did www.catsuka.com.

Technically, Magnetic Rose is more of a Satoshi Kon movie in
terms of execution. |

I couldn't be more pleased that Memories will finally be available to US audiences. Magnetic Rose is my second-favorite animated film of all time. I thought this title would never be licensed, to tell the truth.
