Nice! I didn't know they had already sold some model kits before. If my local store stocks them I'll definitely pick some up.

Oh wow really, for real. This is unexpected and not something I would see. Shocked

When I saw the title, I never thought I would see Gundam and Barnes & Nobles to be together in one title. But this is quite surprising to me. Shocked Very Happy

Definitely surprising for me too. I have a few B&N around me and I dunno, it seems like a culture-clash. I haven't seen any of them participate so I don't know if they'll be part of this rollout. I wonder if they use manga purchases to determine which stores get this.

This was an unexpected story to see. If they're expanding it, I guess it must have been a successful trial. Happy to see some good news for B&N.

This sounds like terrific news, despite me not living in a country that has any B&N stores and the fact that I can probably get them cheaper at my local hobby shop than at B&N.

I have to wonder though what kind of kits they're stocking: recent stuff or old Wing kits like in 2001.

Makes sense, since you can't download things like these yet.

Maybe once 3D printers are a bit more common. ^^

It's still pretty hard. Look at our work: Laughing

Ya gotta remember, it prints from the bottom up. We still have to take out the "supports" and clean it up a bit. And if a limb is too thin, it might break, but that may be glued back together again. Probably it's better to print it lying down, then there should be fewer supports. Still takes about 6 hours.

(And yeah that's an actual working adjustable wrench printed out.)

This is smart of B&N, they need to expand more past books to survive this day and age.

Good for them. Kind of reminds me of the Hastings business model. I'm glad they are able to adapt with the changing times...unlike some other retail media chains. (i.e. BORDERS)
