Ah, this series is ending already? It's been a while since I looked into it. It'd be a perfect candidate for Project H, methinks.
Kudos to Amazume: he did good work. |

Project H seems to be our only hope of any of Ryuta Amazumes works making it over here. Shame it's ending. Will need to order the volumes when the final volume is released. |

He certainly knows how to draw the female form, that is for sure. His work also has a quirky sense of humor that rarely misses. The number of concurrent series he works on is pretty impressive too. One wonders if he doesn't sleep?

when you focus your art skills onto something you should get good at it someday. |

Ah good (I think? Depends on the ending), this is one I've been wanting to pick up but was uncertain if I should make the jump, due to the fact that it was ongoing at the time I heard of it. I do prefer it when a mangaka keeps it short and sweet.
Have to admit it was the ANN objectionable content descriptor that piqued my curiosity: "Objectionable content: intense." Really...is Amazume the new U-Jin or something? Oh, and who doesn't like a good "virgin-loser-gets-a-break" story anyway? :P |

I don't know 'bout no U-Jin, but I've read some of Negative Marriage, and it's about as "hard" a "softcore" book can get. There's absolutely nothing below the waist, as far as we can see, but... eesh, man, things get steamy. It's the softest among all of his stories, by a hair, is what I'm sayin'. |

I'm disappointed to see this end so quickly.
I agree with Levitz9, Project H would be the only candidate for a US localization. |

Project-H means a more limited and restricted audience and really, should only be used for actual hentai. That's my problem with Project-H: you don't know which one is just a seinen romcom, or which one is an actual eromanga.
Considering that hentai implies explicit sex, like some of Project-H's other titles, I'd be disappointed if I were perusing Project-H's catalog, purchased a steamy looking title, only to find it had nothing at all. I think some other publishers could publish this as well. If Seven Seas can do this and this (nsfw) then I think they could take Ryuta Amazuma titles as well. |
