Official source(s)?
I strongly believe that the Sugoi (which I don't consider as a reliable referrer as they rarely link the sources of their news while presenting their -mostly just taken from Japanese fansites- news as-is) has misunderstood/mistranslated something here, as the official homepage still schedules the 9th DVD volume for January 23th (the 10th volume should still be up for Feb 25th). There's gonna be a special "Wolf's Rain" event held on Feb 8th in which all un-aired episodes (#27-30) will be shown. Don't know if that's what the Sugoi dude (mis)-read though. Anyway, I recommend AN to be more careful with quoting news without an official source.

More sources which contradict Sugoi's claim:
Amazon Japan
CD Japan: Vol. 9
CD Japan: Vol. 10
Bandai Visual: Vol. 9
Bandai Visual: Vol. 10

My aren't we conceited. There are a couple hundred posts on our forums every day. Do you honestly think I have time to read them all? Perhaps if it was all I had to do I would, but every day I read two dozen other news sites, write up news articles, edit articles and review written by other people, call PR people for confirmations, fix server problems and deal with advertisors.

Sorry, I do generally read most the posts in the Talkback forum, but I never even noticed this post. If you see a glaring error in our coverage, I would very much appreciate it if you would send us an e-mail at [email protected]

I do hope to add a "report" an error feature to the news section similar to what's in the encyclopedia.

Anyways, now that I've seen this I'll take a look into things and post a correction if need be.

So let us hope 29/30 come out when due.

Tempest, is ANN something you do for a living or is it your work outside of 'work'?
