Would be ironic if these get pirated outside of Japan and would be kinda more funny if these get counterfeit bootleg just for hilarity. Laughing

I have no doubt that these mascot appearances in the recent Gintama movie had some sway in these getting figures.

I saw this at a screening of Miyazaki's "The Wind Rises" a few months ago in Tokyo.

Wow, off the bat the first figure is a yaoi implication pose.

Call me when we get the:

- NO MORE ripping off consumers and creative minds
(as "artist" has become a very cheapened word).

or

- NO MORE ripped off consumers and creative minds for the sake of generating big fat profits for ourselves (companies/corps)

This is pretty damn good. Should get one of these figures for anyone who does camrips. They would absolutely love it. Though this does kind of seem to give more people ideas about taking a video camera in theaters.

Someone dancing in a suit recording a film with a camera in their hands has got to be more entertaining than today's films anyway.

After the first year of this anti-piracy/downloading law went into effect, music sales in Japan had flopped.

and I like to add one more:

-No more ridiculous protectionalism or ridiculous restriction when a product get license outside of Japan meaning I don't want to see any OSTs in a series cut off for overseas release, or charging ridiculous fees for a voice-actor or a person appearance for outside of Japan.

Doesn't make me think "Anti-piracy", but why do I keep thinking of The Residents, for some reason?

That's more entertaining than the anti-piracy ads I see in the US. The camera head guy looked similar to an anti-piracy poster that's always displayed in my local movie theater lobby. Except it depicts the camera head guy in a mug shot pose instead of him being detained by a patrol lamp cop.

Oh good to know! Since I don't have a giant videocamera as a head, I can now be sure I won't go to jail for watching anime rips in streaming sites. That's a load off my back, thank you Japan!
