They'd best get over it then and realize that other anime do exist.

Being a fan of K-On!, Madoka and Ano Hana, it doesn't bother me at all.

It seems k-on! won't hold its 1# spot for movies adapted from late-night tv anime for very long.

The people who decry K-ON! as not deserving of its popularity are the ones who don't realize it has value to a specific few demographics. It's not surprising at all to see the sales that high. Madoka "deserves" high sales for completely different reasons.

And soon enough my $15 should be apart of it's entire gross! Nice to see the film is going strong, talk about going from sleeper hit to blockbuster.
