Was not a fan of Devil's a Part Timer. The main premise was only a little funny, but then was abandoned anyway, and then it kind of ended up just being a harem.

Going by your comment you did not watch the show. Its not a harem. His co worker likes him; and at most you get that the hero might warm up to him a little bit in the very last episode in the very last scene. So that is like 1.5 girls. There was little romance or harem, it was basically played straight as a comedy.

Not to mention the second half of the series was MgRonalds vs SFC.
I'm glad to see the series is still going strong in sales as I'd really like another season of it. The show was fun which is a description I don't get to use that often.
But yeah, for some people, once a show gets more than two girls, it's automatically a harem. Something to do with the girl to guy ratio?

It's really amusing because it seems that, in Japan at least, there is a quite large female fanbase for Maou-sama. It seems to have almost as much female-targetted merchandise than male if not moreso.

I wish that my copy of Arise would ship early from RightStuf couldn't pass up the translation booklet...the Ghost in the Shell franchise is tough to understand in Japanese.

Ugh, I couldn't get into Maou-sama at all. The "Jokes" were terrible.

Yeah, maybe in Japan where facilities will be more likely safer and cleaner. No idea about wages for jobs like these.

This is McD's - there'll always be underage girls working there.
